There are kiosks in malls and tourist places where you can pose for a sketch-type picture. I have had a lot of success using these public places. That was my expectation when I tried Photo-to-Sketch Std. 4.0. I was very disappointed that the output didn\'t come close to the quality of the print from a kiosk. However, the program allows a lot of tweaking and the result is an interesting rendering of the original JPG picture. So I adjusted my thinking and expectations. I liked the Photo to Sketch 3.51. It did better than the Print shop 22 that I have been using. The only thing I noticed is that you can\'t have any shadows in your picture or it will pick them up.

I have just started to utilize FotoSketcher but, as it is very straightforward and easy to work with, I have already experienced some initial success! Try and like I downloaded this to read CAD files works great and easy to handle.

It does what I was looking for Looking for .igs file viewer.I found eZ on the web.Strenght: seems to be only one available on the market. Easy to use even if i never used any mCAD tool before. Simple installation and small amount of memory used by the tool. Weak: no found yet since my expectations were very poor and I recognize the tool is more powerful than my needs.

IGS File Hi I needed to view IGS files. I downloaded eZ and was able to view the files straight away and much more.I am very pleased with the flexibility and surprised at how much you can do with the software.I have already recommended it to a number of colleagues so we can share information.Thank you very much.Best regards,Paul.

RE: eZ was easy to use. I`m satisfied. I was very pleased with the software. I found it relatively easy to navagate. One dislike is that I did not find a way to highlight the colors of particular surfaces for clearer representations. For example, my model has an electronic PCB inclosed by a plastic housing. The sectioning tools was great. But the inside of the housing was dark, and looked mostly devoid of detail. Maybe I just do not understand the lighting feature yet. But I wish I could have picked a color for the housing, and have seen it in shadowed color. But overall I liked the ...

Checking dimensions request I received an .IGS file that I needed to check dimensions of. Since I only needed t do this once I needed a simple viewer. I then used the ruler to check dimensions. I tried typing in a dimension thinking this would set the line lenth, buit of course it does somethign different.It would have been nice if:1) The line length could have been set2) If object characterisitcs could be read (that is, x, y positon etc).

The product's webpage is dead (parked), and there's no documentation included with the program. This makes it pretty hard to use.

Yeah, Ok... I'd love to review it, but after the download I looked around for installation instructions but could not find any. Is it stand-alone? Is it a plug-in? I thought it was a plug-in, but could not find any way to "plug it in!" I'm clueless, so clearer instructions would have been very helpful in my case..

What software platform does it run on What software platform does the cartoonizer run on...is it photoshop, fireworks, corel draw?

Novice perspective I am a complete novice with VirtualDub and had no problem immediately outputting with the plugin. On the downside the audio didn't fair well but that's easily overcome with editing. Also, I may find the solution by tweaking the threshold settings but in drawing mode the lines move quite a bit from frame to frame. Example, carpeting looked like rippling water they way the lines changed from frame to frame. But hey - great results for a completely free plugin!
